Coming Out of Hibernation on Groundhog Day

I thought it would be fun to come out of my hibernation on Groundhog Day and declare to everyone that I am still alive and well.  After extended periods of girl time, I've noticed that I tend to take a bit of time off from updating my website (and answering my emails...sorry everyone :P ), and I think that part of it is that being a girl for a number of weeks straight and creating opportunities to go out in public dressed like a girl whenever possible is sort of like running a marathon, and when it all comes to an end, sometimes you can feel a bit exhausted requiring time to recuperate.

Of course, my recent girl time also came to an end prior the holidays, and life is busy enough without having to worry about all of the year-end holidays and festivities, and so trying to keep up with life in general could be an excuse for not manufacturing those opportunities to dress like a girl and get out and about. Regardless, there isn't a day that goes by where I don't feel like a girl, and there isn't a night where I don't fall asleep dreaming about what it would like to be a genetic girl.  It's just who I am, and in the upcoming days and months, I really hope to expound deeply on those thoughts as I update my Lisa Files section.

Of course, I'll also be looking for every opportunity to dress as a girl and go out into public even if it is for an hour, so hopefully I can come up with the some fun ideas until my next extended girl time, which is already scheduled in just a few months. :) In the meantime, I'll catch everyone up on what I've been doing the last little while because it definitely has involved lots of bras, panties, and pantyhose.

Going Mobile
As you may guess, I want my website to reach as many people as possible, and the best way to do that is to have my site displayed prominently in Google searches.  I really don't have time to keep up with all of the latest and greatest tips from Google and I'm not an SEO guru, but I do know that Google is encouraging websites to be as mobile-friendly as possible.  Personally, I prefer to browse the internet on non-mobile devices because as I get older, my eyes aren't getting any better, but Google is encouraging us "web developers" (I use that term extremely lightly) to lean towards Mobile.  What that means is that I'm being encouraged to put my web pages together in such as a way as to be browser-friendly even on a smaller device.

While the full website will always take precedence and always be the place where I update things first, I have slowly but surely been putting together a mobile website as well, and that has kept me busy the last little while.  If you do try and access my website from a smart phone, it will likely direct you to the mobile site instead of the main website where I link to everything.  All of the content on the mobile website is the same, but it's just presented in a simpler format.  Sometimes I am able to sneak more pictures into the mobile format than the regular website, but otherwise, everything should be mostly the same.  I would say that less than 10% of my full website has been converted to the mobile-friendly version, and I'm sure I'll be working on this project until they bury me for good...hopefully wearing a dress and a nice pair of heels.

Before I move to the next topic, I just have to say thank you to my good friend Lisa (yes, there are at least two of us!!) for taking this picture of her smart phone propped up at a coffee shop with my mobile website displaying. Fun!!  You can click here if you want to see what the mobile site looks like, but it looks funny in a big browser on a computer screen because it was designed to display on a tiny screen.

I hinted earlier that I don't need to be dressed up fully like a girl to still feel like one. And it is true that I think about being transgender every single day, and one of the best ways for me to cope with this condition of mine when I can't get out in public dressed as a girl is to at least wear some pretty lingerie underneath my guy outfits on a regular basis. Winter time is a wonderful time to "under dress" as girls like us say, and in my particular case, my wife understands that I frequently wear pantyhose on chilly days to stay warm, and if I wear pantyhose beneath my jeans, I'm also wearing panties. Then, most of the time I just can't bear not to wear a bra too, and so I've spent at least a third of my winter so far underdressed in a bra, panties, and pantyhose, and if you count just the panties and pantyhose underneath, it's been like half of the days. I love to take pictures of my ankles at work when I'm underdressed because I refuse to wear guys socks over my nylons, and so I'll post a fun pic or two of me at work wearing pantyhose.
